Remember when you took "mommy and me" classes??…bonding with other parents and your kids all in one. There were endless opportunities to be with your toddler. Fast forward ten years….endless opportunities for the kids to be without you! Drop off, overnights and sleepaway camp. In the blink of an eye, they are off to college.
Our kids are older now, capable and eager to learn! Our programs are new experiences for our kids and sophisticated enough for us parents to learn a thing or two. It's a win-win; they learn, we learn and we spend time together. We know how busy you are so, we have done the work for you! Come with us, we've made the plan, you both enjoy the experience. Learn, laugh, have fun and b2!
Classes, activities and excursions are for parents (or grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.) AND their kids age 8-13 yrs. Birthday parties and private events can be designed just for tweens.
"I loved the cake decorating class. It was so nice to spend time with my daughter doing something we both enjoy. The teacher was awesome and we left with enough treats for everyone in my whole family!
"We love b2 events. Our favorite class so far was self defense. The class was fun and approachable. It was a big hit!"
Welcome, we are Katy Goldman and Allison Zaslow, owners of B2 Events NYC. We met dropping our daughters off at the babysitting service at our local gym, and quickly bonded as first time moms. When we realized our "babies" were reaching double digits, it occurred to us that we could now do activities with them in a more grown up way. Alas, b2 events nyc was born! We are thrilled to offer events for you and your family to learn and have fun together.
Prior to founding b2 events, Katy worked in program planning at HBO and Allison worked in finance at AllianceBernstein.
"I'm not sure who had more fun at the b2 pasta making event-me or my 10 year old daughter! I am not a chef by any stretch, so it was fun to participate in something where we were each essentially working from the same base knowledge (none!) and could learn together. We all left full and covered in flour. Before we'd even eaten my daughter asked when the next event was."
